Accreditations

SINAL ACCREDITATION
SINAL (Italian National System for Laboratories Accreditation) accreditation with number 0051, as laboratory operating in compliance with the Norm UNI CEI EN ISO IEC 17025:2005 and the applicable criteria of Norms UNI EN ISO 9000/94. The accreditation covers agriculture, food, environment, microbiology, residue, detergents, cosmetic, materials for food packaging, industrial hygiene and GMO analysis (1st accreditation March 1993).

ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION
Certification of the Quality Management System in compliance with the Norm UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 granted by CERTIQUALITY (n. 2171) for the following activities “Planning and provision of chemical, physical and microbiological analysis, research and technical-scientific services for industrial, craft, trade and service enterprise” (1st certification June 1999). The certification is valid inside the IQNet circuit (certificate n. It-6915).

GLP CERTIFICATION
The Italian GLP monitoring authority (Italian Ministry of Health) certifies that Chelab test facility is included in the national GLP Compliance Programme, is inspected on a regular basis (date of last inspection: 19-20 March, 2007) and is in compliance with the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice in the conduct of non-clinical health and environmental safety studies of test items within the following area of expertise: Physical-chemical testing, Toxicity studies, Mutagenicity studies, Environmental toxicity studies on aquatic & terrestrial organisms, Behaviour studies in water, soil, air, Bioaccumulation studies, Residue studies, Analytical and clinical chemistry testing, Metabolism and pharmacokinetics, other studies. ISO 14001:2004 CERTIFICATION
Certification of the Environment Management System (refers only to the Via Castellana 118/A site) in compliance with the Standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 granted by CERTIQUALITY (n. 10899) for the following activities “Only for sampling services and technical-scientific assistance for industry, agriculture and environment” (1st certification July 2006). The certification is valid inside the IQNet circuit (certificate n. It-41432).

REGISTRATION TO THE REGISTER OF RESEARCH LABORATORIES
Registration to the register of research laboratories according to art. 14 of D.M. 593 of 08/08/2000 (prot. n. 55 of 01/04/2002, Italian Ministry of Instruction, University and Research Decree of 12/27/2001).

REGISTRATION TO THE VENETO REGIONAL REGISTER OF THE LABORATORIES THAT PERFORM ANALYSIS FOR THE FOOD SELF-CONTROL
Registration to the Veneto Regional Register of the laboratories that perform analysis requested by the food self-control procedures of the alimentary companies according to D.L.vo 5/26/1997 n. 155 (first acknowledgment 08/02/05 decree n. 366 of the General Prevention Direction).

QS - Fachgesellschaft Obst-Gemüse-Kartoffeln GmbH APPROVAL

Chelab has been acknowledged by QS - Fachgesellschaft Obst-Gemüse-Kartoffeln GmbH - as laboratory authorized for the monitoring of residues on fresh fruits, vegetables and potatoes in the QS quality system (first acknowledgment August 3, 2007, certificate nr. 402097)

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TECHNICAL COMPLIANCE AS A LABORATORY OF THE ECOLABEL SYSTEM

Approval from the Technical Department of the Italian Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Handicraft to have the necessary qualification for the independent preliminary control (according to EC regulation 1980/2000) necessary to obtain the European work for ecological quality ECOLABEL. The compliance covers the following products:

Hand dishwashing detergents (Decision 2005/342/CE); Detergents for dishwashers (Decision 2003/31/CE); Laundry detergents (Decision 2003/200/CE); Multi-use detergents and cleaners for sanitary elements (Decision 2005/344/CE). Detergents for dishwashers (Decision 2003/31/CE);

AUTHORIZATION TO PERFORM OFFICIAL ANALYSIS ON WINES AND WINE EXPORTATION
Authorization by Italian Ministry of Agricultural and Forest Policies – Department for the Quality of Agroalimentary Products and Services – to perform official analysis on wines and to issue analysis certificates for wine exportations according to the national and communitary regulations (Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forest Policies Decree of 05/14/2007).

AUTHORIZATION TO PERFORM OFFICIAL ANALYSIS ON OIL
Authorization by Italian Ministry of Agricultural and Forest Policies - Department for the Quality of Agroalimentary Products and Services – to perform in the whole Italian territory official analysis on oils, according to the national and communitary regulations (Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forest Policies Decree of 05/14/2007).

AUTHORIZATION FOR ANALYSIS ON MEDICATED FEED
Authorization by Italian Health Ministry to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on medicated feed and intermediate products according to the Decree of 11/16/93 (prot. n. 600.9/24315/AG117L/ 21/2602 of 11/30/1995).

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE FOR ANALYSIS ON ASBESTOS
Acknowledgment of compliance of Italian Health Ministry for analysis on asbestos according to D.M. of 07/07/97 (prot. n. 400.X/3.7.8/92 of 01/14/1998).

AUTHORIZATION FOR ANALYSIS ON FAT CONTENT IN MILK
Authorization of Veneto Region for analysis on fat content in milk for quality payment purpose, according to Circ. n° 5 of 03/20/93 (prot. n. 9320/40142 of 09/21/1993).

ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR ANALYSIS ON EMISSIONS, DUMPS, GARBAGE AND REUSABLE MATERIALS
Acknowledgment of Veneto Region for physical, chemical and biological analysis on emissions, dumps, garbage and reusable materials according to L.R. n° 33/85 and its subsequent changes and amendments.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR ANALYSIS OF VEGETAL PARASITES
Acknowledgment of Veneto Region for analysis of vegetal parasites (prot. n. 329/40800/26 of 01/13/1998).

ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR SEARCHING RALSTONIA SOLANACEARUM
Acknowledgment of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region – Plants Disease Observatory for searching Ralstonia solanacearum on tubers imported from Egypt (prot. 1552/G2 e 4-2 of 12/24/2002).

ASSOBIRRA AUTHORIZATION
ASSOBIRRA (Beer and Malt Industry Association) authorization for quantitative PCR analysis on corn (circ. n. 64/00S of 10/18/00) and for traceability for GMO-free corn.

REGISTRATION TO THE LIST OF THE LABORATORIES RECOMMENDED BY AIC
Registration to the list of the laboratories recommended by the Italian Celiac Association (AIC) to detect gluten in food.

REGISTRATION TO THE LIST OF COOP ITALIA LABORATORIES
Registration to the list of the COOP ITALIA authorized laboratories for the execution of microbiological analyses, dioxin research, GMO analyses, multiresidual analysis and other.
